(2+ years experience required) Hybrid Computer Technician Organization: 911 PC HELP POSITION SUMMARY As a Hybrid Computer Technician, you will serve as the primary on-site technician for our clients, providing expert diagnosis and delivering optimized solutions for a wide range of technical issues. Responsibilities: What You Will Do: • Daily commute to SF office : Please consider traffic and commuting hours before applying! • Occasionally travel up to a 50-mile radius within the Bay Area to troubleshoot and resolve customers' technical issues. • Provide primary diagnostic incident response and perform initial triage for reported issues. You will need to apply your knowledge of hardware, as well as network design, configuration, and installation of network equipment such as routers, switches, and firewalls. • Identify and escalate issues to higher staff members when necessary, ensuring proper resolution. • Document and report tasks to senior management : As new processes or procedures are implemented, you will be responsible for promptly reporting and documenting the work performed. Qualifications: What is Required: • Previous experience working in the MSP industry is a MUST! • The MSP industry is significantly different from corporate IT, and there is no universal script for one organization because there are hundreds of those organizations under our roof. Ability to think outside the box is crucial. • Experience with network systems and general networking. • Experience with Windows-based hardware , including PCs and servers. • Experience with physical cabling in a raised-floor environment, including cable management (testing, troubleshooting, etc.). • Ability to convey a strong presence and professional image while dealing confidently with complex technical problems. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members and support personnel. • Ability to anticipate problems, resolve client ambiguity, and take decisive action to help. • Physical Requirements : • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, and work under a 3-4 foot raised floor. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Clean driver’s license and driving experience. Owning a car is a must. • Note : This is a career appointment. This position requires the completion of a background check. Compensation: $75,000 - $80,000 yearly
