Job summary
The I & E Technician role is a field service role requiring hands-on, interactive work with panels, machinery, and maintenance functions. This person will support customers’ engineering and maintenance departments with electrical and automation troubleshooting as well as start-up and commissioning assistance in order to reduce down time and increase machine reliability and production. Key Responsibilities
• Complete Safety Risk Assessments
• System Troubleshooting and Installation
o Troubleshoot, repair, and install various electrical equipment: motors, VFDs, control components, instrumentation.
• Technical Documentation
o Utilize and interpret technical documentation such as electrical diagrams, mechanical schematics, technical
publications, OEM blueprints, etc.
o Understand and follow site SOPs
• Maintenance and Planning
o Complete daily planned work orders as assigned.
o Work with Plant Planner/Supervisor for improvements and repairs.
o Communicate effectively with plant operations.
o Adhere to all plant and company safety standards.
o Understand and execute the customers' permit process.
o Utilize customers' CMMS system.
o Source materials in emergency situations.

Job Details:
• Position Type: Full-time Temp-to-Hire/Direct Hire
• Position Shift: Nights
• Location: Customer Site – Indianapolis, Indiana
• Pay: $30-$40 hour, Based on Experience
• Education: Technical Certification or 3 years of industrial electrical or service experience preferred.
Qualifications
• Strong problem-solving, time management, prioritization, multitasking skills, and attention to detail.
• Understanding of 480V and 277V systems and control voltages, 24V, 120V, 0-10V, 0-15V, 4-20ma.
• Experience troubleshooting programmable logic controllers (PLC), human machine interfaces (HMI)
• Experience with Industrial Communications like Asi bus, Device Net, and Ethernet.
• Experience in GMP regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
• Communicate with clients, support channels, and vendors on a regular basis
• HMI & SCADA experience
• Basic Microsoft Office Suite understanding.
