    THIS IS A PROPOSAL POSITION (CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD).

     

    JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Expert Logistics Operations Manager responsible for providing resources and managing the logistical requirements in this SOW. Included in these functions will be a full range of logistical services, including but not limited to tracking federal personal property management, inventory and storage management, supervision/coordination of loading dock and move services, transportation, and other logistical support for the LX Compound and ODNI external buildings.
    • Provide oversight for the Logistics Team Leads and technical management for all logistics tasks as identified in this SOW
    • Plan and organize all logistics related activities to be performed by the contractor.
    • Coordinate with various Government stakeholders as required
    • Ensure that the full range of corporate resources is made available to perform the required logistics tasks. The CO and COTR shall be notified in advance of any changes in resources required to perform new tasks
    • Ensure that all approved requirements are completed correctly, efficiently and on time
    • Work with the Government management team to establish a prioritized list and implementation schedule for all approved/accepted requirements
    • Support the Government in planning and evaluating customer requirements as well as the identification of operational efficiencies
    • Monitor operations to ensure compliance with Government Regulations
    • The Logistics Operations Manager, or their approved designees, must be present during the business hours of 0600-1800. After normal business hours or during weekends, Logistics Operation Manager or their approved designees shall be physically present within two (2) hours of notification of an incident requiring emergency response, if and when an emergency situation occurs and shall be available for contact by telephone 24 hours per day, 7 days per week (24/7), including holidays.

     

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field is desired but not required & 5 years recent Logistics Management Experience
    • Familiarity with Government culture and Logistical process is desired
    • Basic computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook)

     

    LICENSE & CERTIFICATIONS:

    • All requisite state driving licenses
    • Provide driving records for the last three years for all personnel who will drive a government vehicle. The Government reserves the right to deny, suspend or revoke driving privileges due to unacceptable driving record and/or safety risk

     

    CLEARANCE:

     

    • TS/SCI required to start  Ability to get a Full Scope Poly clearance
    • US Citizenship is required.
