ABOUT THE POSITION

IMSolutions seeks qualified and motivated Business Development professionals who are eager to take the next step as Business Development Capture Managers, supporting professional services opportunities in the Federal Sector. 

With an anticipated start date of March 1, 2021, newly hired Capture Managers will be expected to complete a rigorous 7-month program designed to jump-start a career in the exciting and highly compensated Business Development field. This program will provide formal Capture Manager training, on-the-job training through all phases of Government Contracting (GovCon) activities, and mentorship from recognized Business Development professionals. 

Upon completion of the program, IMSolutions Capture Managers are expected to play a key role in the growth of IMSolutions by managing high-value opportunities from opportunity qualification and pre-RFP strategy development through contract award and launch. 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Demonstratable experience in all phases of GovCon proposal activities (Proposal Manager Experience a plus)
• Stellar writing skills (tested)
• Excellent research and analysis skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Good to excellent capabilities in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Good critical thinking and decision foundation skills
• Basic ability to design graphic concepts
• Basic skills in MS Project and scheduling

REQUIRED: 

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, or any other discipline that required significant amounts of writing in pressure environments 
• Master’s degree (MBA, Communications, related field) is a plus (not required)

COMPENSATION:

• Initial Salary: $70K - $80K (based on experience)
• After a successful 7-month period, a salary increase and win bonus will be initiated
