Job Title: Retail Associate
Reports to: Retail Manager
Hours: Part -Time
Location: Jacksonville
Position Summary
The Retail Associate is the first point of contact for Insa customers and serves as our primary brand ambassador. This person is responsible for providing the highest level of friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate customer service to our medical and recreational patrons.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Provides friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate customer service to customers and advises them on their unique needs and preferences
- Performs transactions using computerized point of sale system and ensures accurate cash handling
- Performs order fulfillment and restocking as needed
- Uses expertise to educate customers on the brand, product options, and regulatory compliance
- Maintains a calm demeanor during high-volume times to ensure customer satisfaction
- Addresses customer concerns and/or complaints using prescribed procedures, including de-escalation techniques when necessary
- Maintains open communication with Inventory Specialists to understand availability of products
- Maintains compliance with Company SOPs and CCC regulations, including sales limits and proper checking of ID specifications
- Willing and able to accommodate a flexible schedule, including evening, weekend, and holiday work
Qualifications & Experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience required
- Basic computer skills required; POS software and cash management experience preferred
- Basic math skills including adding and subtraction required
- Outgoing, friendly, and enthusiastic attitude required
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle
- Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with state regulations
- Ability to stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs occasionally
- Ability to stoop, kneel, and bend at the waist
- Visual acuity needed for viewing computer screens and fine print
- Manual dexterity needed for performing transactions
