IPS (Integrated Practice Solutions) is formed by multiple technology-focused companies that include ChiroTouch, ACOM Health, ClinicSource, and RevolutionEHR, providing products and services to various types of healthcare professionals and organizations.

We are looking for a SR. SOFTWARE ENGINEER to join our growing business. This position requires exceptional drive and forward ­thinking, a high level of collaboration and multitasking capabilities, and the flexibility to grow with additional responsibilities and respond quickly to changing priorities.  

RESPONSIBILITES:

Lead and contribute to the development, implementation and analysis of features spanning a full web based distributed cloud application stack. 

• Develop and maintain unit tests while guiding and setting the standard for the development team.

• Lead in the development and documentation of user stories.

• Debug and troubleshoot software to resolve defects.

• Participate in code reviews, and update code based on feedback.

• Conduct code reviews and provide recommendations on code improvement.

• Participate in architecture and design decisions.  

• Work with leadership in future development strategies.

• Participate in scrum team meetings. (Daily scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, etc.)

• Follow established procedures to complete assignments.

• Work with QA Automation Engineers to ensure high quality standards are met.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Software engineering fundamentals (A.S. or B.S. in Computer Science, or at least 5-­10 years equivalent skills and knowledge).

5­-10 years of Java development experience in workplace

3-­5 years working experience with Relational databases

4­-10 years working experience developing JavaScript and related concepts.

Strong understanding in software architectural foundations with an emphasis in cloud ­based deployments Experience in working with SaaS development. Experience developing web applications utilizing Angular

Thorough understanding of modern web UI frameworks, responsive design, relational database systems preferred.

• Experience developing software utilizing scrum and agile methodologies a plus.

• Strong troubleshooting skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong commitment to quality and user experience.

• Strong work ethic and willingness to acquire new skills.

• Able to move between priorities in a fast­paced environment and deliver high quality results.

• Able to quickly learns new, emerging skills that are relevant to the project.
