JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking to hire an experienced ISEE/SSAT Tutor to provide instruction in providing guidance for our students in preparation for their exam. As an ISEE/SSAT Tutor you would work 1:1 with our students to assist on all sections of the exam.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field from an accredited college or university (required)

Master's degree in Education, English, or a related field from an accredited college or university (preferred)

2 years experience as an ISEE/SSAT instructor or tutor (required)

Successful track record of helping students with their ISEE/SSAT Exams

Professional communication skills (both spoken and written)

Competent in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Able to work independently and collaborate with a team

Enthusiastic about working with students and parents

Able to maintain strict confidentiality

Highly organized and detail-oriented (attention to detail and accuracy is imperative)

Ability to meet schedules and deadlines

Good judgment and decision-making abilities

Good problem-solving skills

Good planning skills

JOB DUTIES:

Collaborate with the Director of Curriculum Development to develop lesson plans and curricula as needed

Prepare students for ISEE/SSAT examinations

Assess students' needs and provide extra support in any lacking areas

Provide homework help as needed

Able to lead a classroom of students effectively and work efficiently with students

Good classroom management skills

Hours: Flexible
