SUBSTITUTE TEACHER (PREK-12 GRADES)

We are looking for candidates who are dedicated to the educational growth of our young students of today. If you love helping students grow and learn, substitute teaching may be for you.

WE OFFER FLEXIBLE WORKING SCHEDULES DURING THE SCHOOLS CALENDAR YEAR. OUR SUBS WILL HAVE ACCESS TO OUR ONLINE SCHEDULING SYSTEM WHERE THEY CAN VIRTUALLY ACCEPT ASSIGNMENTS AND TRACK THEIR WORK HISTORY.

SUBSTITUTE TEACHING OFFERS MULTIPLE OPPORTUNITIES FOR A VARIETY OF BACKGROUNDS:

• Be able to create your own work schedule Mon-Fri between the hours of 6am and 4pm (average operating report times of k-12 schools). Half-Day and Full-Day assignments available dependent upon school schedules.
• Get experience in the classroom. Learn your preferences; what grades or subjects do you like?
• Already have a Teaching Certification, or are working on your Educational Degree? Substitute teaching can offer you the experience schools love to see on resumes. Use your experience as a substitute to polish your resume and credit towards your in-classroom experiences.

_PAY$: _

• Daily Substitutes – UP TO $125.00/PER DAY
• Long-Term Substitutes – UP TO $160.00/PER DAY
• PAID WEEKLY via Direct Deposit

LOCATIONS:

We have multiple partnering schools throughout the Metro Detroit areas of Wayne, Oakland, Macomb and Genesee Counties.  We have IMMEDIATE OPENINGS in each of these counties.

QUALIFICATIONS:

INDUSTRY SPECIFIC STAFFING FOLLOWS (MINIMUM) THE STATE OF MICHIGAN GUIDELINES FOR SUBSTITUTE TEACHING.

Candidates MUST:

• Minimum of 60 College Credits from an accredited college or university (must provide official transcripts)
• Minimum of a 2.0 standing GPA
• Complete a Criminal Background Check via Fingerprint Clearance
• Some experience working with children in groups
• Michigan Substitute Teaching Permit (ISS will apply for this on your behalf if you don’t currently have a valid permit or teaching certification)
• Valid Driver’s License
