New Beginning HCSP is a Medicaid Waiver Program Provider based in Harlingen, Texas that supplies services and support to Texans with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Our doors have been open to the community since May 2019 and we hope to continue serving our fellow Texans for years to come.

New Beginning HCSP LLC. is looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join our amazing and growing team! As an Individualized Skills and Socialization (ISS) Direct Care Worker - will be responsible for observing, planning, and implementing activities to help improve daily living and social skills for clients with intellectual disabilities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

Monitor clients in a group setting and work through prescribed skills training for communication, money management, hygiene, socialization, and more;

Assist clients in every-day tasks such as walking, reading, writing, toileting, eating and others;

Chaperone clients on community outings such as the zoo, a park, the beach, etc;

Transport multiple clients to and from the center with company vehicles;

Maintain a positive attitude in chaotic environments
