  • Responsibilities

    We have an immediate need for IT Asset Analyst with out client in Plano,TX

    Responsibilities

    • Adds, updates, and manages all hardware and software product information in the IT Asset Management System (ServiceNow) and perform physical inventory audits at regularly scheduled intervals and as required and fulfill ServiceNow parts request tickets.
    • Performs day-to-day, end-to-end asset life cycle administrative duties by following established procedures for tracking company assets to oversee quality control throughout their lifecycles including the disposition of assets at end of life.
    • Coordinates with other department managers to s support the purchase, stocking, and allocations of IT hardware and software assets when resources are needed to achieve common objectives.
    • Works with IT teams to automate processes, wherever possible.
    • Ensures project adhere to Information Security Policy, and related security processes and procedures, and stays abreast of emerging security and privacy concerns to incorporate appropriate controls and safeguards into processes and projects.

    • Help ITAM Team in RFID Project to analyze the data.
    • Regularly reports project status, including risks and issues, to management, stakeholders, and the IT management team.

    Qualifications

    Minimum:

    • Strong technical and business background, with a proven history of tracking and managing multiple IT requirements, procurements, and contracts.
    • Knowledge of ServiceNow or any ITSM Tool
    • Knowledge of overall aspects of hardware/software asset management
    • Driver’s License, as frequent travel to local facilities is involved.

    • Quick learner, Attention-to detail.

    Preferred

    • Certification in Hardware Asset Management, Software Asset Management, IT Asset Management and/or ITIL.
    • Previous experience in managing software assets and license compliance at the enterprise level.
    • Advanced level of understanding with MS Excel
    • Working knowledge of ServiceNow, SharePoint and MS Teams
