    Description

    This position requires a versatile individual capable of managing multiple application systems within our inmate industries division, leading projects, and providing technical expertise, particularly for the Viapath inmate tablet program. The Business Analyst will gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure successful implementation and ongoing support of various applications. This role requires strong communication, analytical, and project management skills.

    Requirements

    • Serve as the primary administrator for assigned applications within our inmate industries division.
    • Assist system configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting with the vendors after initial troubleshooting has been completed.
    • Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
    • Coordinate with vendors for support and upgrades.
    • Lead and manage all aspects of the Viapath inmate tablet project, from initial planning to ongoing maintenance and support.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g., correctional staff, inmates, vendors) to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
    • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
    • Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure timely completion.
    • Manage vendor relationships.
    • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements using various techniques (e.g., interviews, workshops, document analysis).
    • Translate business requirements into clear and concise technical specifications.
    • Create use cases, user stories, and process flows.
    • Conduct gap analysis and identify opportunities for process improvement.
    • Evaluate potential software solutions and make recommendations.

    Where You'll Work

    This position will require a hybrid/onsite work schedule out of Lincoln, NE. Will be required to travel to different client locations. The client has 9 different work locations (Lincoln, York, Omaha, McCook, Tecumseh).

    Salary
