    Job Summary

    We are seeking a knowledgeable IT Technician to join our team. We provide various services to a wide variety of industries. As the IT Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers computer systems, networks, phone systems, camera systems and equipment are operating at peak performance. As a managed services company you will be asked to handle IT support requests and assist customers with their technology needs. Your role is vital to the smooth operation of our customers systems. The ideal candidate has strong technical background as well as excellent customer service and communication skills. We are a growing business that requires its employees to be dynamic and have the ability to multitask.

    Responsibilities

    Maintain computer hardware in working order

    Set up customers workstations (computers, printers, routers, etc)

    Install and configure software

    Train customers in best practices in technology and how to use software and equipment

    Assess security risks and ensure the security of networks and computer systems are maintained

    Monitor customer networks to ensure optimum performance

    Provide quick and effective assistance with information technology systems

    Systems may include phone systems, camera systems and network equipment

    Help customers remotely and in person with systems configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance

    Listen attentively to customers’ questions and concerns and offer optimal solutions

    Prioritize customer satisfaction in all communications, directing unresolved issues to next-level personnel

    Work with other IT Support and IT management to provide customers with superior service

    Inform customers about new and upgraded IT products and services

    Walk customers step-by-step through problem-solving process.

    Setup new computers, connect computers to domain, setup users in Active Directory and Microsoft 365 online

    Some overnight travel may be required but is not the norm

    Other duties may be assigned

    Qualifications

    Previous experience as an IT Technician or an IT Certification is preferred

    Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

    Ability to work well as part of a team

    Strong written and verbal communication skills

    Understanding of data privacy and security

    A drivers license is required
