Description
We're looking for IT professionals who will thrive working with WorkSmart's small business and corporate clients to help them support, manage, and plan their IT infrastructure. Mainly operating in Windows environments, most of our clients are small businesses with little or no IT expertise in-house. We're not just looking for the best technical talent, we're also looking for folks who interact well with users - whether they're administrative staff or the business owner!
This position provides service to our clients both remotely and on-site. Duties include infrastructure review, project advisement, strategic planning in conjunction with the WorkSmart team and clients, and limited on-call responsibilities.
Requirements
- Willingness to travel to client sites (80% local travel)
- 5+ Years providing user support in a corporate environment.
- 5+ Years architect and administering Office 365 environments (Mail, OneDrive, SharePoint)
- 5+ Years of architect and administering VMWare environments, including configurations.
- 7+ Years architect and administering Windows server environments
- 5+ years architect and administering Networks
- 5+ years in troubleshooting networks (VLANs, Switches, Routers, Firewalls)
- 3+ years of architecture and administering Azure or similar cloud environments
- Good problem-solving skills with experience identifying and escalating issues.
- Ability to identify, prioritize, and escalate issues appropriately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with team members
- Motivated; requiring little instruction or guidance from their direct manager.
- Solid customer service and organizational skills
You'll also need:
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills
- The desire and ability to learn new technology
Employees will work at client sites, in our office, and remotely.
