IT Coordinator - Insurance Company - Base Salary to 50k/year - Baltimore, MD
Our client is an regional insurance company located between Baltimore and DC that is looking to hire an IT Coordinator for their firm. This position is open due to the current IT Coordinator retiring. This is a direct hire, full time position that will work mostly remote but needs to be located relatively close to the office just in case.
The IT Coordinator reports to the VP of IT Projects and will be an important part of the team in working with business analysts and developers in an agile environment. Our client's goal is to find someone that has worked in an IT department previously and has an understanding of how to work with data to run reports and help out with presentations.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and monitor IT inventory of assets, contracts, licenses, etc
Reconcile actual IT spend with planned budget
Monitor IT team key performance indicators
Support IT team activities within our Agile Sprint process
Schedule and coordinate meetings as well as record the minutes from those meetings
Record minutes from the daily sprint and planning meetings and publish in our IT collaboration software
Assist the Business Analysts and ScrumMaster updating story points
Type and design correspondence, memos, supporting documentation for meeting presentations and product releases. Proofread copy for spelling and grammar and layout, making appropriate changes
Gather and summarize data for reports
Find solutions to various administrative problems
Qualifications:
Must have knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint – certification preferred
Comfortable working with a technical team
Must have a high level of interpersonal skills and interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
Continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines
Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
College degree preferred but not required
Compensation:
Base salary in the 45k - 50k/year range, with 100% fully paid family healthcare benefits included.
