    **This is a full-time contractor role payable at $28 per hour**

    Job Summary:
    We are seeking an IT Deskside Customer Engineer (CE) to provide technical support in a customer-facing role within our TechDoc environment. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting and break/fix skills for PCs, iPhones, and iPads, with MacBook experience being highly preferred. While A/V skills are not required, they are a plus.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform a variety of technical support tasks on-site to meet business and customer needs.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with PCs, iPhones, iPads, and, preferably, MacBooks.
    • Assist in coordinating small teams to deliver work packages aligned with company processes.
    • Document and report work completed to ensure compliance with company and customer procedures.
    • Escalate technical issues as needed, following company protocols, and take appropriate actions to meet customer expectations.
    • Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external users to ensure a positive experience.
    • Adapt quickly to changing environments while maintaining a consistent and effective contribution to the team.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Proven experience in an IT Desktop Service environment.
    • Strong troubleshooting and break/fix skills for PCs, iPhones, and iPads (MacBook experience preferred).
    • Ability to follow instructions and procedures with precision.
    • Proficiency in using information systems, technology functions, and applications following IT industry standards.
    • Highly organized with strong problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
    • Basic administrative, literacy, and numeracy skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate within a team.
    • Awareness of health and safety best practices in the workplace.
    • A/V experience is a plus but not required.
