    We are looking for an IT Hardware Support Technician to join our dynamic team in Spartanburg/Greer, SC. This role will be responsible for providing hands-on technical support for a variety of IT hardware-related tasks, including hardware break/fix, network port patching, PC imaging, PC deployments, and Android scanner support. You will work in a collaborative team environment, ensuring that all hardware and devices are functioning properly and efficiently.

    The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of PC hardware, along with experience in troubleshooting and supporting IT infrastructure. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, hands-on role and to further develop your technical skills in a team-oriented setting.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform hardware break/fix repairs, ensuring minimal downtime for end users.
    • Execute network port patching for optimal connectivity across devices.
    • Image and configure PCs for new deployments or system upgrades.
    • Manage and execute PC deployment activities to ensure all new devices are correctly set up and delivered to users.
    • Provide support for Android scanners, troubleshooting, and resolving issues as needed.
    • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot, resolve, and document hardware-related issues.
    • Assist with inventory management and tracking of hardware components.
    • Maintain clear and concise documentation of all technical activities and procedures.

    Technical Environment and Skills/Experience:

    • Basic understanding of PC hardware components and troubleshooting.
    • Familiarity with imaging tools and techniques for PC deployment.
    • Experience with network port patching and connectivity troubleshooting.
    • Ability to support and troubleshoot Android-based devices, particularly scanners.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication skills for collaborating within a team.

    Nice to Have Skills/Experience:

    • Prior experience with PC deployments and imaging tools (e.g., Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, SCCM, etc.).
    • Experience with Android mobile device management or scanner support.
    • Knowledge of networking fundamentals (IP addressing, subnetting, etc.).
    • Familiarity with ticketing systems or IT service management platforms.

    Professional Accreditations:

    • While not required, IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ or similar would be considered a plus.

    Sector Experience:

    • No specific sector experience is required, though prior experience in a technical support role within any industry is beneficial.

    Working Environment:

    • This is an on-site role and the work will be completed in a team environment.
    • The resource will work closely with team members but will also need to be self-sufficient in completing tasks as required.
