    **This is a full-time 1099 contractor role payable at $30 per hour**

     

    Position Overview

    We are currently seeking a dedicated IT Deskside Engineer to join our team at our Tucson, Arizona site. This is an onsite role that requires hands-on support and troubleshooting for a variety of end-user computing needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in computer diagnostics, Windows operating systems, and basic networking principles, with the flexibility to assist with mobile devices and hardware support as required.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide deskside technical support for hardware, software, and peripheral issues.

    • Diagnose and resolve technical problems on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices (Windows 10/11, Apple iOS, Android).

    • Perform hardware replacements, upgrades, and system imaging.

    • Support users with Windows 10/11 operating system-related issues.

    • Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues, including wired and wireless networks.

    • Provide support for mobile device configuration and troubleshooting when needed.

    • Offer assistance for conference room equipment and A/V systems (experience preferred but not required).

    • Collaborate with the IT support team to ensure seamless technical support and service delivery.

    Preferred Skills and Experience

    • Proficiency in computer diagnostics and troubleshooting methodologies.

    • Solid understanding of Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments.

    • Basic knowledge of network principles (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi connectivity, VPN troubleshooting).

    • Experience with mobile device setup and support (Android, iOS).

    • Exposure to conference room technology and audio/visual systems is a plus.

    • Familiarity with Apple hardware, macOS, and the broader Apple ecosystem is highly desirable.

    • Customer-service oriented, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.

    • Self-motivated and able to work independently in an onsite environment.

    • Adaptable and willing to learn new systems and tools as required.

    Working Conditions

    • Full-time, onsite position at our Tucson, Arizona location.

    • May require lifting and moving of computer hardware and related equipment.

    • Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be required for system maintenance or upgrades.

     

    Pay: $30 per hour

    Shift: Monday - Friday; 40 hours per week
