AET Federal is seeking a Lead IT Developer to enhance the design and implementation of complex software solutions by translating business needs into technical blueprints, selecting appropriate technologies, and overseeing the development process. The IT developer will play a critical role bringing hands on application development experience in .Net and Azure application development.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture Design:

Develop high-level system architecture, including component interactions, data flows, and technology stack selection based on business needs and constraints.

Implementation Oversight:

Monitor development progress, review code, and provide guidance to ensure the solution is implemented according to the designed architecture

Responsible for implementing complex software solutions by translating business needs

Technology Framework Usage:

Utilize .Net and web development tools (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C# & Python), Azure Application development using Azure components like Azure Function App, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Queuing etc.) on daily basis to perform job duties

Expertise with REST API development.

Requirements:

Be able to work hybrid in Washington D.C.

5+ Years minimum experience as an IT Developer/ Lead Solutions Developer or Architect

MUST either reside in Washington D.C. or Pensacola, FL for hybrid work (occasional on-site visits)

Obtain a Bachelors Degree in a STEM related field

Proficient in .Net development, Web Development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C# & Python), Azure Application development using Azure components like Azure Function App, Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Queuing etc. Expertise with REST API development)

Fluent understanding and technical abilities with Azure Infrastructure for IaaS, PaaS & SaaS modeled applications
