IT Director
Sierra Peaks has outsourced IT support to a full-service firm while another vendor ensures CMMC compliance. The company recently transitioned to a new ERP system. The IT Director oversees IT operations, coordinates vendor management, and aligns technology strategies with business goals across four locations. This role supports operational efficiency, drives innovation, and ensures compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Leadership:
· Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with company objectives.
· Manage budgets and identify cost optimization opportunities.
· Ensure disaster recovery and business continuity readiness.
Vendor & Project Management:
· Oversee IT vendors and ensure SLA compliance.
· Coordinate technology implementations and monitor vendor performance.
Systems & Infrastructure:
· Ensure secure, reliable systems meeting NIST 800-171 requirements.
· Manage software/hardware rollouts and scalability.
Budgeting & Compliance:
· Develop/manage IT budgets.
· Ensure compliance with DFARS, NIST, ISO 9001, and CMMC Level II.
Support & Training:
· Oversee IT support services and foster user adoption of technologies.
· Develop training programs to enhance IT proficiency.
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field
10+ years of IT leadership experience
Strong vendor/ project management skills
Knowledge of IT governance frameworks
Secret clearance or the ability to attain one- must be a US Citizen
Preferred:
Master’s degree in Information Technology or related field
Manufacturing/ defense industry experience
ERP expertise (e.g. Dynamics 365, NetSuite)
ITIL/PMP certifications
Cybersecurity certifications (e.g. Sec+)
