  • Responsibilities

    Director of IT

    Responsible for managing the support of all facets of the company's IT infrastructure. Is responsible for the security of the company's computer systems and electronic data, the development and implementation of customized systems, and overseeing all computer-related activities. Manages the ERP system (Acumatica) and other IT solutions, ensuring uptime, productivity, and efficiencies company-wide

    • Provide leadership in overall IT security posture, ensuring tools and infrastructure adequately and proactively protect against emerging cybersecurity threats
    • mitigate risk of Manages backup and disaster recovery strategy and process for network/system backups
    • Supervises and mentors a team of IT professionals including IT Admins, IT Support Technicians, and contractors
    • Serves as on-call technician for after-hours network and phone outages
    • Manages technology vendor relationships
    • Works with IT Associate Director to effectively track and optimize IT investments, track budgetary performance, and forecast future spend.
    • Oversees daily operations of network and server infrastructure
    • Aligns IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and goals
    • Evaluates risk proactively, developing network recovery and backup processes
    • Creates and maintains an IT budget and upgrade path for all hardware and software solutions
    • Assesses and purchases new and replacement hardware
    • Assures that IT activities are within the limits of applicable laws, codes, and regulations
    • Complies with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per ISO:13485 2016 standards and the Company's Quality Management System

    Experience/Training/Education

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
    • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation
    • Experience with Azure Services and Active Directory
    • SQL skills for data retrieval and updates
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to analyze and interpret data effectively
    • Capable of translating technical concepts into clear, non-technical language
    • Experience with methodologies for managing large-scale databases

  • Compensation
    $200,000 per year
