What We're Seeking:
IT Field Technician
As a Field Technician, you'll deliver on-site support to our valued customers. This role offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your IT skills while working with cutting-edge technologies and assisting our clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
Managing user accounts, print and network services, and program access.
Installing, deploying, and configuring computers for customers.
Diagnosing and resolving client-side IT issues, including network connectivity, Windows 10, and software problems (email clients and MS Office).
Managing and providing access to network shares and printers.
Providing hardware support and setting up new computers, including troubleshooting and remote support configuration.
Maintaining hardware assets such as desktops, laptops, printers, and spare parts.
Entering trouble tickets into ConnectWise and escalating to Corporate IT teams when necessary.
Collaborating with other IT teams to resolve network and server issues, install new server hardware, and stay updated on corporate-wide IT projects.
Conducting on-site visits that involve hands-on interactions with customer equipment, such as printer issues and workstation installations.
Document, file, and conduct hard drive forensics when customers need file recovery.
Other duties as required.
Required Experience/Abilities
Minimum of 2 years of solid experience in an IT/Desktop Support role, preferably with a Managed Service Provider.
Proficiency with MS Office applications.
2 years of experience in configuring, troubleshooting, and managing desktops running the Windows Operating System.
2 years of experience in managing access to network shares and printers from a Windows OS file and/or print server.
Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot various client desktop and printer issues.
Experience in creating/terminating network cables and phone lines.
Required Soft Skills/Abilities:
Positive attitude, proactive, and a promoter of Right Click standards.
Action-oriented, with a strong work ethic and energy for tackling challenges.
Calm under pressure, providing stability during crises.
Effective problem solver, using rigorous logic and methods for finding solutions.
Customer-focused, dedicated to meeting customer expectations and building trust and respect.
Comfortable with ambiguity and adaptable to change.
Additional Requirements
Good driving record.
Background check.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Benefits & Compensation:
Annual Salary Starting between 45,000 to 60,000
