    The Talent Mine is recruiting for an IT Front Desk professional with strong skills in customer service and ticket/queue management for an immediate, 2-month contract opportunity in the downtown Seattle area. This is with a local non-profit true to their mission of serving others, with a focus on food, housing and wellness for under-represented people facing a health crisis.     Overview:

    This position provides customer support, triage, ticket creation, issue tracking, and reporting. In this role, you will communicate with customers, create support tickets and documentation, and ensure that issues have been resolved. The position is located in our client's downtown Seattle office (Monday to Friday 8a-5p).

     

    A day in the life will include:

    • Answer phone calls, efficiently collect information on users issues, and offer outstanding customer support
    • Respond to incoming tickets, emails, or drop-ins to effectively triage IT issues
    • Follow up with users to ensure tickets contain all information necessary for technicians to diagnose and resolve the issue
    • Create and update tickets in the client’s queue management system, assign tickets to the appropriate technician
    • Track issues to verify resolution, and provide reporting to colleagues and leadership on ticket status

     

    Ideal Qualifications:

    \- 1+ years of Customer Service or Service Desk experience, particularly supporting users by phone and email

    \- Experience with a ticket workflow and queue management system (Jira preferred)

    \- Basic understanding of Windows desktop operating systems, Office365 and iOS/Android mobile devices, to ensure tickets are created and filled out accurately

    \- A passion for user empathy, a desire to work with limited supervision, exceptional communication skills, good judgement, and joy in what you do!
