    Job Description

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient IT Hardware Technician to join our team in Fairfield, United States. As an IT Hardware Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing computer hardware and peripherals to ensure smooth operations across our organization.

    • Diagnose and resolve hardware issues for desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
    • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and operating systems
    • Respond to IT support tickets in a timely and professional manner
    • Perform regular maintenance and upgrades on computer systems and equipment
    • Collaborate with the IT team to implement new hardware solutions and improve existing systems
    • Document technical processes and maintain accurate records of repairs and installations
    • Provide basic network support and troubleshooting
    • Assist in managing hardware inventory and procurement processes
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest hardware technologies and industry trends
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
    • 2+ years of experience in IT hardware support or related field
    • Strong knowledge of computer hardware components, peripherals, and troubleshooting techniques
    • Proficiency in Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems
    • Experience with IT ticketing systems and hardware diagnostics tools
    • Basic understanding of networking concepts and protocols
    • Familiarity with IT security best practices
    • CompTIA A+ certification preferred
    • Basic scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) a plus
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
