About the Role:
We are seeking an IT Helpdesk Technician to join our team in the aerospace supply chain industry. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our IT systems and delivering exceptional customer service to all employees. This position offers a hybrid work setup, combining office-based and remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Helpdesk and Computer Support: Configure and deploy workstations, install software and updates. Connect and configure printers, monitors, and other office equipment. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for end-user devices. Provide mobile device support, including setup, configuration, and troubleshooting. Conduct regular system maintenance and updates.
- Local and Remote Support: Offer local and telephone help desk support for both on-site and remote employees. Resolve computer-related issues including setup, login, and application connectivity. Use remote support tools to diagnose and address technical issues for remote users. Ensure timely resolution of support tickets and maintain detailed documentation.
- Office 365 Administration: Manage Office 365 user accounts, licenses, and permissions. Support Office 365 applications such as Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint. Assist users with Office 365-related issues and provide training on new features.
- Project Assistance: Support additional projects as assigned by Management. Participate in IT project planning and implementation, including system upgrades and migrations. Collaborate with IT team members for seamless project execution.
Additional Skills:
- Familiarity with endpoint management tools and practices.
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Office 365 administration and support.
- Knowledge of network protocols and troubleshooting.
- Experience with remote support tools and practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Preferred Experience:
- Minimum of 2-3 years in a helpdesk or IT support role.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate.
- Experience with cloud-based services and virtualization technologies.
Work Environment:
- Primarily office-based with occasional after-hours work for system maintenance or emergency support.
