    Job Description:

    Our client is seeking a proactive and skilled IT Manager to oversee our technology infrastructure, communicate, manage, and interact with our MSP to ensure seamless operations in a high-end firm/financial services environment.

    The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Windows systems and a strong ability to manage IT projects, support staff as end-users, and implement effective technology solutions.

    Excellent professional presentation and communication skills are a must. This role is on-site five days a week and on-call when necessary.

    Responsibilities:

    • Infrastructure Management: In conjunction with our MSP, oversee the maintenance and optimization of Windows servers, workstations, and network systems

    • Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects, including system upgrades, software deployments, and infrastructure enhancements

    • Security Oversight: Implement and maintain security protocols to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards

    • Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure high-quality support and service delivery

    • User Support: Provide hands-on support and training for staff, ensuring they have the tools and resources needed to perform effectively

    • Budget and Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and thoroughly documented accounts of all IT hardware assets, including warranties. Assist in developing and managing the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented

     

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field

    • 5+ years of experience in IT management, with a focus on Windows environments

    • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365 and network administration

    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure

    • Proven experience in project management and team leadership

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills

    • Experience in a high-end or professional services firm
