    We are seeking a skilled IT Operations Analyst (Job Tittles & descriptions below) to join our team. As the Cybersecurity Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying any vulnerabilities in our networks and preventing unauthorized access to our data. The ideal candidate is honest, reliable, and has a proven track record in computer security.

    JOB TITTLE & DESCRIPTIONS

    | Senior Security Analyst: | Design, implement, and maintain computer security structures including user access control software, physical security, and disaster recovery to ensure protection of equipment, program software, and data files. Develops procedures and contingency plans for disaster recovery including establishing off-site storage of back-up computer tapes, and tests the procedures to ensure adequate recovery can be accomplished for data files and software. Analyzes changes in the operating system, data fields, and software to ensure appropriate safeguards are maintained on the system. Conducts internal audits of computer facilities to ensure operating procedures are being followed and develops risk analysis and vulnerability studies of software and physical security.

    | ServiceNow Developer: | Development on the ServiceNow platform for complex catalog, application modules, and the CMDB including workflow and security coding, creation of new CMDB elements, design and data mapping, along with handling various developer related functions. Developer should have extensive knowledge of JavaScript Familiarity with UI, SQL, HTML and CSS, knowledge of XML and structural programming concepts, experience using the ServiceNow platform and knowledge of ITIL processes.

    | SharePoint Developer: | Develop, modify, maintain SharePoint server portals. Design, develop, and manage site content and capabilities and provide daily onsite maintenance

    | Web Designer: | Develops, designs, maintains the City's internet and intranet web site pages utilizing artistic and technical expertise. Implements time-sensitive updates to web site information from all City departments. Works with Public Affairs and Outreach (PAO) department to disseminate citizen sensitive information for web site. Researches new technologies for web site enhancements in Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), sound, video, animations, and other related features.

    | Workday Technical Lead: | Applies system solutions to business problems through the design and programming of automated systems. Configures, analyzes, designs, develops, and maintains Workday program codes and modules to support business processes and functions around Human Capital Management. Works on elements of large, complex installations. Performs all aspects of programming assignments and assists with systems design. Fully knowledgeable in Workday programming languages. Applies knowledge and experience with technology and application development methodologies to perform basic systems analysis techniques, testing, debugging, file design and storage.

    | Business Analyst: | Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs. Possesses expertise in the business unit(s) they support, as well as, an understanding of the IT organization's systems and capabilities. Analyzes business partner's operations to understand their strengths and weaknesses to determine opportunities to automate processes and functions. Assists in the business process redesign and documentation as needed for new technology. Translates high level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manages changes to such specifications. Educates the IT organization on the direction of the business. Negotiates agreements and commitments by facilitating communication between business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation. Possesses an understanding of technological trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprise's competitive edge. May make recommendations for buy vs. build decision.

    | Department Technology Analyst: | Provides analysis, programming, and testing to support the maintenance of departmental proprietary and process control computer operations and the management and analysis of department databases. Analyzes, evaluates, and reviews objective of department programs and the information requirements; designs, creates, and maintains computer database to gather data and effectively classify information. Maintains, manages, and analyzes computer operating software, hardware, and network configuration within a department or division; identifies weaknesses and devises solutions to solve configuration problems. Evaluates and plans software and hardware purchases to maintain and improve the system; prepares cost analyses of maintenance and enhancement of existing programs and hardware. Writes, develops, and implements programs to extract information from the databases; develops formats and reports of information obtained to communicate status of programs and information. Trains users, technicians, and less experienced personnel in using the system; assigns and oversees work of technicians monitoring field sensors.

    Qualifications

    A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred

    5-10 years Previous experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst, Computer Security Specialist, or similar role is preferred

    Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

    Ability to work well as part of a team

    Strong written and verbal communication skills
