Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Computer IT Operations Specialist (Job Tittles and description below) to join our team. As the Computer Security Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our security systems. You will respond to any security or privacy breaches and prevent unauthorized access to our data. The ideal candidate is honest, reliable, and has a proven track record in computer security.
JOB TITTLES & DESCRIPTIONS
| Asset Management Administrator: | Administers IT purchase and inventory system and management system. Updates and administers asset databases, tracking life cycle of all assets. Receives and manages inventory, ensures security of assets while in inventory. Maintains and manages supplier records, service level agreements, software license information and updates, and assists in developing enterprise-wide IT purchasing standards and procedures. Receives new equipment/software requests and monitors procurement and deployment activities. Verifies financial data (e.g., leased, depreciated or expensed), and monitors and reconciles changes in inventory and performs spot checks to ensure process and system quality.
| Data Analyst: | Analyzes and studies the data collected to reveal ways to improve databases and the data entered into those databases Conduct studies, gathers, and analyzes data from various databases and sources, develops reports, summaries, recommendations, and visual representations, performs statistical programming and provides consultation and technical assistance. Work with City departments to provide guidance and technical assistance in obtaining accurate information from the City's core data sources.
| Electronic Technician : | Performs journey level electronic technical work involving installation, operation, repair, and maintenance of a wide variety of electronic equipment. Evaluates performance and reliability of electronic equipment by applying electronic theory, principles of electronic circuitry, testing procedures, and related knowledge to install, build, test, troubleshoot, repair and modify equipment. Repairs and replaces defective electronic equipment. Tests electronic components, circuits, and faulty equipment and apply knowledge of functional operation of electronic units and systems to diagnose cause of malfunction.
| ERP Programmer/Analyst: | Applies system solutions to business problems through the design and programming of automated systems. Configures, analyzes, designs, develops, and maintains ERP program codes and applications to support business processes and functions. Works on elements of large, complex installations. Performs all aspects of programming assignments and assists with systems design. Fully knowledgeable in ERP programming languages. Applies knowledge and experience with technology and application development methodologies to perform basic systems analysis techniques, testing, debugging, file design and storage.
| GIS Analyst III : | Provides daily, operational support to end user and systems in all areas of GIS deployment and use. Establish and maintain user accounts on GIS platform. Develop system documentation. Analyze, develop, and maintain GIS programs (applications). Maintain access and security to GIS database and verify accuracy of additions.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred
Range of 5-10 years experience depending on the position listed above
Previous experience as a Computer Security Specialist, Cybersecurity Analyst, or similar role is preferred
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Ability to work well as part of a team
Strong written and verbal communication skills
