  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Lead end-to-end execution of business and IT transformation projects
    • Plan and facilitate key project sessions, including requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, and training
    • Analyze project proposals to determine scope, timelines, budget, and execution strategy
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation including plans, risk logs, issue trackers, and stakeholder updates
    • Track critical paths, dependencies, and risks, and proactively recommend recovery strategies when needed
    • Partner with IT, business analysts, SMEs, and operational teams to ensure alignment across initiatives
    • Manage internal and external project resources, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities
    • Apply change management techniques to control scope, schedule, and cost variations
    • Communicate risks, issues, milestones, and status updates to senior stakeholders and leadership
    • Provide leadership, clarity, and motivation to cross-functional project teams
    • Prepare agendas, document minutes, track action items, and ensure follow-up
    • Continuously evaluate and improve project performance using industry benchmarks and best practices
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of IT project management experience, ideally supporting reporting or data analytics projects.
    • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Synapse or similar cloud-based data platforms.
    • Five years or more of experience on projects that are similar to the requirements (reports development and maintenance).
    • Strong knowledge of data architecture, ETL pipelines, and enterprise reporting tools.
    • Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • PMP or similar project management certification.
    • Experience working in federal IT environments, particularly legislative agencies.
    • Familiarity with ServiceNow for task tracking and reporting.
    • Knowledge of Oracle database systems and integration with Azure services.
