Job Description

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Monitor server performance, system logs, and network activity to ensure uptime and security.
• Perform routine maintenance, patch management, and software updates.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and other core infrastructure services.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Ensure server security through firewalls, antivirus, and other security measures.
• Maintain documentation of system configurations, changes, and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT teams to support business applications and users.
• Plan and execute server upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in server administration or related IT roles.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Proxmox.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation.
• Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, etc.).
• Experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery planning.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
