    TIBA Parking Systems is seeking an IT Staging Technician for its Columbus, OH office. TIBA is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join a team of experienced professionals supporting and servicing a growing Dealer and Customer base.

    Description:

    IT centered (PARCS software) Staging Technician responsible for PARCS Software buildout and database creation, customer equipment delivery preparation, performing final testing and quality assurance procedures for all systems/projects.

    Job Duties:

    • Creates PARCS instances on virtual servers for all systems/projects moving through the staging process.
    • Tests all purchased functionality of sold systems/projects prior to shipment to client.
    • Setup servers and network devices in accordance with the system design.
    • Perform quality assurance checks, documenting serial numbers and makes the call on when a system/project is approved to be moved to shipping area.
    • Resolves assembly, software, and firmware problems to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources if necessary.
    • Work with IT/DEV team to ensure the latest technology is researched, tested, and integrated.
    • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
    • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
    • Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

    Job Qualifications:

    • Experience in using instrumentation (Voltmeter), Equipment Maintenance, Manufacturing Experience, Manufacturing Quality, Mechanical Inspection Tools, Tooling, Safety Management, Quality Focus, Power Tools, Judgment, Decision Making.
    • Extensive experience in IT to include hardware, software, and networking.
    • Several years of experience with PARC software and firmware (preferably SmartPark) and system/project field deployments.
    • Problem solving, Fluent verbal communication and customer service focused, ability to work well in a team and attention to detail.
    • Must be able to work without direct supervision and prioritize workload.
    • Relevant experience is a plus.

    General:

    • Ability to move/lift repairs weighing up to 35 lbs.
    • 8:00AM– 5:00PM. Monday-Friday. Overtime may be required based on workload.

    Hazardous Materials Knowledge:

    • This position requires daily use of chemicals and items that have associated MSDS sheets.
    • This employee should be aware of the chemicals he/she is working with and their associated hazards.
