    **This is a full-time contractor role payable at $27 per hour**

    We are looking for an experienced IT Support and Asset Management Technician to join our team. The role involves managing IT assets, ensuring accurate inventory tracking, assisting with device distribution, and providing hands-on support for IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cabling, general IT infrastructure, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Asset Disposal and Reclaim:

      • Manage the lifecycle of IT assets, including reclaiming, cleaning, and preparing devices for disposal or redeployment.
      • Ensure proper documentation of disposed or reclaimed items following company policies.
    2. Inventory Capture and Management:

      • Maintain an accurate inventory of IT equipment, updating records for new devices, replacements, and disposals.
      • Conduct regular inventory audits and report discrepancies.
    3. Device Distribution:

      • Facilitate the distribution of IT devices, ensuring they are properly configured and delivered to end-users.
      • Support new hires, desk setups, and hardware upgrades by preparing and deploying devices as needed.
    4. Floor Walking and User Support:

      • Perform regular floor walks to address technical issues, check equipment functionality, and provide on-the-spot support.
      • Assist users with basic troubleshooting and escalate complex issues as necessary.
    5. Cabling and Infrastructure Support:

      • Manage and maintain cabling for workstations and IT infrastructure, ensuring a clean and organized setup.
      • Assist in the setup and maintenance of general IT infrastructure, including network equipment, peripherals, and conference room technology.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in IT support or asset management.
    • Familiarity with IT asset lifecycle management and inventory systems.
    • Basic knowledge of cabling and IT infrastructure setup.
    • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
