Job Description
Responsible for the overall management of the Property’s IT support efforts and staff, including direct experience leading and managing IT teams. Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record of managing IT operations, including planning, organizing, and implementing complex IT projects. This hands-on technical working manager role reports to the Regional Director of IT and requires strong leadership skills in a technical environment. Additionally, candidates should have experience developing, implementing, and maintaining policies, procedures, systems, and methods for the effective management and control of IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee IT Support: Manage, direct and perform the activities of the Property’s IT group to ensure the timely and accurate installation, maintenance, and repair of computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
Problem Solving: Ensure that the team identifies and solves any technical issues quickly. Keep track of these problems and how they were resolved.
Team Management: Responsible for all things related to the team, personnel-related matters including interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, evaluating, promoting, counseling, and discharging.
Project Management: Lead and manage IT projects for the property, including setting up new systems and overseeing installations.
Communication: Keep upper management informed about any technical-related needs or issues.
Policies and Procedures: Develop and maintain guidelines to make sure the IT department runs smoothly and stays compliant with company rules.
Budget Management: Oversee the IT department’s budget, work with Regional Director of I.T. to identify needs and make sure spending is in line with what’s been approved.
Install, Maintain, and Fix IT Equipment: Make sure that all computer hardware, software, servers, and accessories are set up correctly, kept in good working order, and fixed when needed.
Solve Tech Problems Quickly: Ensure that your team finds and fixes any tech issues as soon as possible, and that they keep records of the problems and how they were resolved.
Qualifications
Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses
