    We are seeking a skilled IT Technician with experience in the automotive industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CDK software, as well as a strong background in IT support and administrative functions. This position involves providing technical support, managing software and hardware installations, troubleshooting, and performing various administrative tasks to ensure smooth dealership operations.

    Responsibilities

    Provide technical support to dealership staff, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues

    Maintain and troubleshoot CDK software used in dealership operations.

    Install, configure, and support desktop systems, applications, and peripheral devices

    Set up and maintain dealership networks, including wired and wireless configurations.

    Manage user accounts, access levels, and security settings

    Work closely with other departments to streamline and support daily operations.

    Assist with administrative tasks, including inventory management, order processing , and data entry

    Document IT support request, solutions and best practices

    Perform software updates, backups, and regular system maintenance

    Qualifications

    Experience: Minimum of 2 years in IT support role within the automotive industry

    Technical Skills: Proficiency with CDK software is essential, familiarity with Microsoft Office, Windows OS, and general networking

    Administrative Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle administrative responsibilities efficiently.

    Education: Associate’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

    Other: Strong communication skills, customer service orientation, and ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Experience with other dealership management systems (DMS) and automotive software

    Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and data privacy regulations.

    Basic understanding of inventory management software and administrative processes in an automotive setting.
