This position reports directly to the Chief Appraiser. The person in this position assists the company's offsite Information Technology Consultants in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer hardware and general software systems and diagnosing and resolving issues related to desktop computers, networks, printers, and other IT equipment. Assists in developing and executing communication strategies to manage the organization’s public image. This position will also be responsible for assisting in the Deeds Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Setting up new computers and peripherals for employees
Diagnosing and resolving technical issues such as network connectivity problems with the company’s offsite IT consultants and software vendors
Maintaining the organization's website
Keeping track of IT hardware inventory and ensuring property maintenance
Managing user accounts and access controls
Setting up Zoom/Microsoft Teams meetings as needed
Setting up Board Room, Training Room, and Offices to facilitate the technical needs to conduct virtual meetings or hearings
Manage and maintain social media platforms
Assist in writing press releases
Assist with the procurement of various equipment
Training employees on common software applications
And other duties as assigned

Education Requirement:
Graduation from high school or possession of a GED Certification
Experience Preference:
Experience in a communications role. Experience in a computer tech role.
Required Qualifications:
Data entry proficiency
Strong understanding of computer operating systems, network protocols, hardware components and common software applications
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Excellent letter-writing skills using proper grammar
Project management skills
Experience working with the public
In-house training under Supervisor on direct data entry device
Ability to demonstrate obtained knowledge of software programs and information retrieval
Mental alertness to detect and resolve error conditions
Ability to work under pressure of rigid cycles of fluctuating production schedules
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Ability to communicate effectively over the telephone and directly with taxpayers
Ability to work harmoniously with fellow employees
Ability to arrive at work on time
Ability to work overtime during certain periods of the year
