The Ice Maintenance Team Leader is responsible for the day to day and long-term maintenance of Genesis Health Clubs Sportsplex Ice Den. This person will work with building directors and all departments to maintain the efficient functioning of all equipment and all aspects of operations.
Responsibilities
-Maintains a quality Ice Maintenance Property team by hiring, training/orienting, evaluating, coaching, and disciplining as needed; maintains proper payroll records, timekeeping, and paperwork. -Establish and maintain team work schedules for the Ice Maintenance Property Team to insure appropriate coverage. -Assist in developing an annual budget -Develop maintenance manuals/standard operating procedures -Assist in the continued development of preventive maintenance logs/schedules for Ice Den operations. -Provide timely equipment, tools, appliances and other items at the request of the Director of Property Management. -Build and or assemble shelving, workbenches, storage rooms, doors, walls and equipment. -Coordinate and supervise all electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and painting needs. -Supervise special construction and remodeling for as needed. -Work with the Directors to assure building maintenance. -Maintain service checklist on all equipment for daily usage -Participate in local and out of area continuing education and certification courses for facility equipment and operations.
Requirements
-3 to 5 years experience in building/facilities management. -Ability to be able to read and interpret blueprints is desired. -Must maintain a budget that does not sacrifice a high quality standard. -Excellent people skills. -Excellent organizational skills. -Proficient computer skills. -Ability to handle many tasks simultaneously while also providing attention to detail. -Must be willing to work long and flexible hours without advance notice, including nights and weekends. -Must be on call for designated times and be able to respond accordingly. -Ability to make decisions in emergency situations -Professional appearance required.
Physical Requirements Bend, stoop, crouch, climb, stand, sit and turn/pivot, lift/lower, push, pull and carry up to 40 lbs. Perform office tasks using simple hand grasping, fine hand manipulation and reach associated with assigned tasks such as paperwork, typing, and/or word processing, filing, calculating and use of telephone. See, hear, and speak with sufficient capability to perform assigned tasks and maintain proper job safety conditions.
