    Antonini & Cohen Immigration Law Group is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join the firm. Antonini & Cohen is a renowned immigration firm experiencing significant growth and seeks a self-motivated, fast learner to hit the ground running. We are dedicated to immigration law matters exclusively, and we help all types of clients effectively deal with government agencies and court systems. Responsibilities: • Represent clients before Immigration Courts in removal defense, applications for immigration relief, criminal removal matters, bond hearings, and contested removal cases; personally appear with or on behalf of clients before USCIS, BIA, and the Immigration Courts in Atlanta, GA • Interest in handling other immigration law specialties as well, including family, employment, humanitarian and federal litigation • Strong legal research and writing skills; prepare declarations, briefs, motions, federal court pleadings and letter briefs • Ability to work with clients to navigate various government agencies; conduct client intake and consultations • Work directly with team of paralegal staff and partners to ensure the highest quality of legal representation and customer service for our clients Qualifications: • 2 – 5 years experience in immigration law, preferably including removal defense and brief-writing • J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school and be an active member in good standing of the Georgia Bar (or another state in the US) • Full-time, in-office availability • Bilingual English-Spanish (written and spoken) preferred • Demonstrated commitment to immigrants' and civil rights issues • Strong desire to advance and grow professionally within the firm and in the immigration legal community • Highly organized and detail-oriented • Works well under pressure and understands the importance of deadlines • Strong communication skills – on the phone, via email and in person • Professional and courteous; positive attitude • Self-starter; quick learner; impeccable ethics Compensation: $80,000+ dependent on experience
