    Spanish Speaking in Ventura, CA, US** We are in search of a dedicated immigration attorney with 4-5 years of experience in immigration law. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for aiding trauma victims in obtaining immigration benefits. Our firm specializes in humanitarian-based and family-based immigration cases. We are looking for an individual who is deeply committed to the immigration community and driven by the desire to positively impact our clients' lives. The successful candidate should be highly motivated, resourceful, detail-oriented, articulate, and socially conscious. Exceptional writing skills are a key requirement for this role. Having strong connections within the local community is highly valued at our firm, along with fostering a supportive work environment that encourages continuous learning and skill development. Our practice primarily focuses on affirmative based relief. The candidate must uphold trustworthiness and demonstrate discretion when handling sensitive information and discussions. Applicants will be requested to submit a single PDF document containing their resume, a recent immigration-related writing sample, and references. Location:*Preferably in Southern California, but remote work may be considered for the right candidate. Responsibilities: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : (This is not an exhaustive list) • Assess immigration relief needs of clients and determine eligibility for available immigration benefits, including but not limited to: Family-Based Petitions, Adjustment of Status, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, VAWA, U and T visas, Naturalization, DACA renewal, etc. • Conduct consultations with potential new clients • Provide direct representation and assistance, including but not limited to appearances before USCIS, and, in limited circumstances, before EOIR • Review criminal dispositions and analyze immigration consequences • Provide zealous representation, conduct legal research, formulate legal strategy, conduct client interviews, and appear before state and/or immigration courts or agencies • Draft and file court pleadings and applications for relief. • Review and conduct quality control of completed applications, particularly VAWA, AOS, T/U visa packets • Draft legal briefs and review supporting documentation for immigration relief Qualifications: The candidate MUST meet the following requirements: • Licensed attorney in good standing (preferably in CA) • 4-5 years practicing immigration law, including representation of clients seeking humanitarian relief and family-based benefits • Experience with VAWA and T visa applications (minimum 2) • Prior experience reviewing application packets for VAWA, T visa, U visa, and Adjustment Cases • A genuine interest in working with immigrants and victims of trauma • Experience working with vulnerable populations • Bilingual (English and Spanish) • Ability to work both independently and under supervision. • Work with teammates in a professional and solutions-oriented manner. Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000 yearly
