Responsibilities: • Collaborate with attorneys to prepare case files and supporting documentation for court, including drafting motions, exhibits, and briefs. • Monitor and manage court deadlines to ensure all filings are accurate, complete, and submitted on time. • Conduct client meetings to gather information, and supporting evidence, and ensure all necessary documents are prepared for submission. • Review, organize, and maintain case-related evidence, documents, and exhibits for court proceedings. • Communicate with clients in both English and Spanish to provide case updates, request additional information, and address inquiries. • Maintain organized case files—both electronic and physical—in compliance with firm policies and procedures. Qualifications: • Legal research and legal document drafting experience is critical • Computer proficient - specifically with case management software, word processing, and spreadsheet presentation • Previous case management process experience is needed - preferably as a personal injury case manager, or related jobs such as paralegal, legal secretary, or legal assistant at a law firm, non-profit, or human services agency • High school diploma is required - 2-year degree and Paralegal certification are acceptable, but a Bachelor’s degree is preferred • Ability to multitask and stay self-motivated Compensation: $22 - $30 hourly
