We are seeking an Immigration Managing Attorney with a strong background in litigation, USCIS proceedings, and removal defense. This role requires a passionate, experienced, and highly skilled attorney who can handle complex immigration cases, manage a legal team, and advocate fiercely for clients. Responsibilities: • Litigation & Advocacy: Represent clients in immigration court, removal proceedings, bond hearings, and appeals before the EOIR (Executive Office for Immigration Review). • USCIS Proceedings: Prepare and represent clients before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for various petitions and applications, including asylum, adjustment of status, waivers, naturalization, and family-based petitions. • Case Management: Oversee all aspects of immigration cases , ensuring proper case preparation, filing, and timely responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs), Notices to Appear (NTAs), and Motions to Reopen/Reconsider. • Form Preparation & Compliance: Complete and review all USCIS forms , including I-130, I-485, I-601, I-751, I-918, I-589, I-360, N-400, and more. • Supervision & Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants, providing guidance and ensuring high-quality legal work. • Client Interaction: Meet with clients to develop case strategies, explain legal options, and provide realistic expectations about outcomes. • Legal Research & Strategy: Stay up to date with immigration laws, policies, and procedural changes , utilizing research to build strong legal arguments. Qualifications: • (JD) Degree from an accredited law school. • Active Bar License in any U.S. state ( Georgia Bar preferred but not required ). • 5+ years of experience in immigration law, with expertise in removal defense, USCIS proceedings, and federal immigration litigation. • Extensive knowledge of EOIR, USCIS, ICE, and BIA processes. • Strong courtroom experience handling removal proceedings, bond hearings, and appeals. • Fluent in legal document drafting, motions, and filings for both USCIS and Immigration Court. • Leadership & Management Experience – Proven ability to supervise and train attorneys and staff. Compensation: $85,000 - $100,000 yearly
