    We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Import/Export Coordinator to join our team within the freight forwarding industry. In this role, you will be crucial in ensuring the efficient and seamless movement of goods across international borders. Your expertise in customs regulations and logistics will help us navigate the complexities of global trade while delivering exceptional service to our clients.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Coordinate and manage international shipments, including both air and ocean freight.

    Prepare and process all necessary import/export documentation, such as commercial invoices, bills of lading, and customs forms.

    Ensure full compliance with customs regulations, tariffs, and international trade agreements.

    Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and freight forwarders to resolve any issues and provide shipment updates.

    Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery, including managing customs clearance processes.

    Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales, customer service, and operations, to streamline logistics.

    Analyze and resolve discrepancies or issues related to shipments and documentation.

    Stay current with changes in customs regulations, trade policies, and industry trends.

    Requirements:

    Minimum of 2+ years of experience in import/export coordination or a related field.

    Strong knowledge of customs regulations, tariffs, and international trade agreements.

    Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

    Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software (e.g., CargoWise, AscendTMS).

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.

    Certification in customs regulations (e.g., CCS, CES).

    Experience with freight forwarding software and systems.

    Knowledge of foreign languages (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin).
