    ComForCare Home Care Washtenaw-Livingston is looking for caregivers, certified nursing assistants (CNA), medical students, and home health aides to help provide clients with care within their home.

    This posting is for a client in Ann Arbor. He does rely on a Hoyer lift, requires personal care, cooking, light housekeeping, and companionship. You must be comfortable with dogs, as there is a dog in the home.

    The set schedule is Monday through Friday 8am-8pm. Saturday/Sunday 11am-8pm.

    Pay is determined based on your skillset, experience, and ability to work this schedule. The starting base pay range is $16-$18 per hour.

    There is also a new hire bonus! $500 new hire reliability bonus for 500 hours worked! This equals $100 for every 100 hours until you reach 500 hours with proven great reliability.

    Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    Provide conversation and mental engagement.

    Provide assistance with daily household/personal care management through daily activities to help clients stay independent, and in their own homes.

    Incidental transportation for clients which includes visits to doctor appointments, friends, family members, or stores.

    Observe and report changes in the client’s physical condition, behavior, or appearance.

    Provide companionship for the client. This includes accompanying clients on walks, trips to social/recreational activities, assistance with hobbies, etc.

    Provide assistance with personal care.

    Assist with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises.

    Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.

    Provide companionship and respite services for the family.

    Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements: All listed are a firm requirement to be considered for employment.

    High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.

    At least 3 years previous experience as an at home caregiver, or in senior communities/facilities.

    A valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle. Documentation proofs will be required and will be verified before start of employment. Employment will not be offered if you do not meet this requirement.

    Willingness to go directly to the client’s home. Preferences are noted for distance limitations. We service the counties of Washtenaw/Livingston. You will not be required to go outside of the initial preferences given.

    Willing to run errands, drive clients to appointments, or provide transportation. Mileage for trips, and in between client shifts, is covered at a rate of $0.55.
