Our guests are always at home at Fairmont Hotels & Resorts – and their In Room Dining experience is no exception. Your leadership strengths as Manager, In Room Dining ensure successful operations and the consistent delivery of not only memorable cuisine, but also of outstanding guest service.
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: ****
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Lead and manage the In Room Dining team and ensure service standards are followed
- Must be able to multi-task is a high work paced environment.
- Check food orders for accuracy and quality
- Ensure IRD staff work in full uniform and meeting Hotel grooming policy.
- Work with hotel leadership on creativity of special amenities and alike
- Monitor and react to all department issues with urgency and professionalism.
- Address guest concerns at a five star level
- Consistently train Colleagues to help improve overall service and standards
- Complete weekly, monthly Forbes five star audits and LQA audits
- Balance operational, administrative and Colleague needs
- Conduct regularly scheduled departmental meetings
- Maximize revenues by communicating regularly with the Food and Beverage teams to implement agreed upon strategies and practices
- Have full knowledge of all In Room Dining menus
- Manage the departmental budget
- Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
- Assist in other outlets as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Compensation : $90,000 - $95,000 per annum
