    We are a small, but rapidly growing Family Law Firm in San Diego, California, looking for a Salesperson with consultative sales experience. This position, referred to internally as Client Engagement Specialist, is responsible for conducting sales conversations to identify the potential client’s problem or opportunity, and when appropriate, selling them “solutions” that our Firm provides. This is not a "Customer Service" position. Please do not apply if you do not have extensive sales and client-building relationship experience. You will receive a base pay with ample opportunity to earn ongoing paid incentives for your job performance and onboarding new clients. Do not call our office, please. This is an in-office position only Potential clients reach out to us for help with complex problems and we believe that we have an obligation to help them find a solution. Most of the time, our solutions just happen to be in the form of providing legal services. We will never ask you to sell anything to anyone if it is not in that person’s best interest. Compensation depends on experience and qualifications. You will receive a base salary pay with ample opportunity to earn paid incentives for your job performance. Compensation: $25 hourly + incentive pay ($52,000 per year + incentive pay) Responsibilities: • Maintain the client database to make sure the sales team can access current information on all leads • Record monthly and quarterly sales and performance goals to ensure they are being met • Work within your specific geography to find new business opportunities • Funnel new qualified leads into the sales pipeline by following up with each prospect via email, phone calls or other forms of communication • Assess and send qualified leads to inbound sales representatives so they can convert clients and provide quick turnaround • Conduct sales conversations to identify problems and sell solutions • Oversee the client onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition to the legal team • Follow up with potential new clients to help them come to a decision about moving forward and hiring our Firm • Track and report metrics relating to marketing sales conversion data • Maintain records and enter critical data into the firm’s systems • Develop, Maintain, and Nurture relationships with our referral partners Qualifications: • Great time management, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal • Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license and be able to travel by car • High school diploma or GED is required, bachelor’s degree preferred • Understand the sales process and how to enter information into client databases • 2+ years of experience in sales or a similar role • A consistent top performer in sales • You are an organized, detail and deadline-oriented self-starter who loves contributing to your team’s goals • You love talking and meeting with prospects, presenting to them, closing the deal, and asking for referrals • Follow instructions and understand the importance of policies and procedures • Be a team player that consistently acts with respect and integrity • Be tech savvy (we use law firm systems and cloud-based software) • Proficient in Microsoft Office Real-life experience and a few “battle scars” providing empathy and understanding are assets. Experience overcoming a major obstacle and making important changes in your life, so you know at your core that others can do it too, is a plus. Our Inbound Sales Representative does Not give legal advice, so the legal experience is not required. Prior sales and customer service experience are required because we can teach you our process for engagement and how our services help clients, but we can’t teach you how to take initiative, be empathetic, demonstrate ownership, and be confident.
