Hithium Tech USA is opening a new manufacturing facility in the Mesquite/Forney area. We're seeking a driven Incoming Quality Control (IQC) Technician to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our incoming materials and components. In this role, you'll be the first line of defense against defects, meticulously inspecting and verifying materials against specifications and standards.

The Incoming Quality Control (IQC) Technician will be responsible for inspecting and testing incoming materials, components, and parts to ensure they meet our strict quality standards and specifications. This role is critical in maintaining the integrity of our production process and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, as well as rejecting or returning unacceptable materials
- Create non-conformance reports (NCRs) for the non-conforming materials and block failed material until resampling is completed.
- Accurately document inspection results in the MRP system, inspection check sheets, and, when needed, Corrective Action Request (CAR) forms to send to the supplier
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, test results, and non-conformances.
- Support material handling (into and out of the inspection area, for example), physical inventory, documentation verification, and ISO9000 audits for their area
- Support Engineering Reviews / MRBs and discussions with suppliers as needed
- Support the internal audit process and ensure compliance of quality control standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
- Participate in special projects as assigned by management
- Maintain a clean and safe work station
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years of experience of quality inspections in a fabrication/manufacturing environment
- Previous experience in an ISO 9001 Certified Company with knowledge of quality control principles and procedures
- Proficiency in using measurement tools and equipment
- Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and technical documents
- Ability to follow standardized work and not deviate from SOP and work instructions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail with the task at hand
- Demonstrated proficiency in safely operating powered equipment (forklift, reach truck, etc.)
- Thorough understanding of the product and process being inspected
