DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Organize recreational activities, conduct a weekly group, and counsel tenants on use of leisure time. Complete service plan reviews and other clinical assessments. Write progress notes, assist with maintaining clinical charts. Carry a caseload, conduct home visits, maintain entitlements, escort clients, and liaise with outside providers. Accompany clients on activities. Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed. Related duties as assigned.
HOURS:
Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week
QUALIFICATIONS:
BA required. Two years experience in organizing support groups/recreational activities, client advocacy, coordinating case conferences, and counseling with mentally ill and HIV/AIDS population preferred. NYS driver's license preferred. CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR.
