Clinic Description As an Outpatient Therapist at Ellie Mental Health, you'll share our vision for improving and expanding access to quality mental health care and thrive in an environment driven by our core values of authenticity, humor, compassion, creativity, acceptance, and determination. Ellie Mental Health was founded in 2015 by Erin Pash, LMFT and Kyle Keller, LICSW when they opened the first Ellie clinic in Minneapolis. Since then, the Ellie Fam has continued to grow with multiple clinics in Minnesota and a growing number of locally owned and operated franchises across the country. Ellie was proudly founded on the principle of destigmatizing mental health. The mental health industry is full of barriers, and we’ve made it our goal to fill the gap and find innovative ways to break down these barriers for the communities we serve.
Who is Ellie Coeur d'Alene? Ellie Mental Health of North Idaho is a group of like minded mental health providers that are committed to serve our clients. We are structured to remove many of the daily obstacles that get in the way of providing world-class mental health services. The clinician’s experience is our priority and we show this by offering excellent compensation, benefits, training, free CEUs, and therapist controlled scheduling. We know that clinicians do not enjoy the administrative side of the work we do so we take care of a lot of that for our clinicians. We have centralized administrative, technology, referral and inquiry support, scheduling, client/therapist matching, billing and collections, and insurance contracting/credentialling. Ellie strives to lower the administrative aspects of providing care to the absolute minimum, so our practitioners have more time to focus on what they love - serving clients! Who we are looking for: Independently Licensed Clinicians (with a bunch of wisdom that they want to share) The perfect candidate will share our passion for improving and expanding access to quality mental health care in our local community and will thrive in a culture that emphasizes autonomy, flexibility, creativity, authenticity, humor, compassion, acceptance and determination (our core values). As we grow our Post Falls, ID group of amazing therapists we want to be mindful of bringing in the wisdom and experience that comes with years of independent experience. We highly value this and are searching for experienced clinicians that enjoy taking on a leadership role and helping those around them grow.
Responsibilities and Duties
Complete CDAs, evaluate and provide mental health diagnosis, create and implement a treatment plans, and complete ongoing documentation including yearly CDAs, further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and progress notes for every session according to company policy
Maintain a caseload of a minimum of 30 scheduled clients and a minimum of 25 executed client visits per week. You can choose to work more and in turn you will make more and also not need to worry about being close to the minimum.
Provide excellent customer service for clients
Collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as indicated
Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings, and other fun stuff that we do
If Clinical Supervision within the company is part of your role:
Provide regular one-on-one supervision for your selected supervisees
If required, sign off on their clinical documentation
Ensure that their work with within clinical and ethical expectations as well as company policies
Report to the Clinical Director on any issues that arise with supervisees. The Director is in charge of addressing performance issues.
Required Qualifications and Skills Candidates are required to have a LMFT, LCPC, LCSW license in the state of Idaho
Minimum of 3+ years of full time clinical experience post receiving independent clinical license
Prompt and Effective Communicator
Comfort with presenting to groups when needed
Model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
Complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
Proficient in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus!)
Comfort with a highly automated intake process - electronic paperwork, patient portals, etc.
Comfort with collecting the patient's financial responsibility at time of service and addressing billing issues with clients
Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
Bonus structure for those already credentialed with insurance panels and bringing a full caseload with them
Willingness and competence to work with a variety of types and ages of clients.

Ellie Mental Health offers competitive pay with a unique Hybrid Pay Model. This model allows for the stability of salary pay and the earning potential of commission pay. Someone with this level of experience would be at Tier 3 of our pay model which is 30% Commission and a base pay rate of $20/session. Estimated annual gross earning range of $70,000 (avg 25 sessions/week) - $100,000 (avg 35 sessions/week). If you are hired in a leadership role you would be a Tier 4 which is 35%.
Paid Time Off based on your declared performance goals and length of employment. Starting at 10 days, and over time and based on performance potential of 20 days per year.
Self-Determined Holidays - everyone gets 5 paid days per year that they determine as important holidays for themselves and their families.
Flex Time Off - with flexible scheduling that you manage your schedule is YOUR schedule. If you need time to go to a doctors appointment you do not need to use PTO when you flex that time to a different day/time on your schedule for the week.
Paid Administrative Time - All Clinicians automatically get Paid Administrative Time for every executed session (as paperwork does not write itself)
Professional Development & Free Continuing Education - All Clinicians receive a subscription to Ellie On-line Learning Management System for unlimited free CEU credits. We will also coordinate our own regular local CEU events that will be no charge to our therapists.
Paid Yearly License Renewal - Ellie will pay for the renewal of all required State licenses (cannot do the job without it). Those working in our Post Falls location will have the benefit of paid license renewal in both ID and WA.
Wellness Support - Ellie North Idaho will reimburse up to $25/month for verified gym membership usage (wellness is good). If you have a unique approach to wellness let us know!

We are in the brand new Millworx Development, right next to Kindred & Co. on 4th Street. Great location for those that live in WA but want to work in Idaho with a quick commute.
This position will be under the general direction of the Clinical Director, Julie Krapfl, LMFT
This position can include some work from home if you choose to do so.
