Current Available Shifts/Set Weekly Schedule:
Could be flexible with shift start/end times Could work anywhere from 3-5 of these days (won't be all 6 days)
Monday: 12:00-9:00pm Tuesday: 10:00am-6:00pm Wednesday: 10:00am-6:00pm Thursday 2:00-9:00pm Friday: 11:00am-8:00pm
Sunday: 8:00am-2:00pm, or 8:00am-5:00pm
About Us: Atlanta Swim Academy is the leading Learn-to-Swim facility in the area, specializing in group & private swim lessons for children ages 3 mo-12 years old. We take pride in ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency of our 3 indoor swim pools at one central location. We are dedicated to maintaining top-tier water quality and an exceptional experience for all swimmers.
Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pool Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality for our clients' indoor swim facility. This role involves regular inspections, equipment maintenance, water testing, and minor repairs to ensure an optimal swimming environment.
Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections of the indoor pool area, including water quality, chemical levels, and overall facility cleanliness.
Perform regular maintenance and cleaning tasks, including pool skimming, vacuuming, and deck cleaning.
Monitor and adjust water chemistry as necessary to maintain safe and balanced conditions.
Operate and maintain indoor pool equipment, such as filters, pumps, and chlorination systems.
Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic repairs as needed.
Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, chemical levels, and repairs.
Communicate effectively with facility managers and team members regarding maintenance schedules and required repairs.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure indoor swimming environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in indoor pool maintenance or a related field is preferred (but not required)
Certification in indoor pool operation and maintenance is a plus.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced indoor environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients.
Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting and moving supplies and/or equipment.
Benefits & Pay:
Starting Pay: $16.00-18.00/hr based on experience
