You will oversee electrical installation and repair, inspections, and project planning. Benefits: • Medical • Dental • Vision • 401(k) • Life Insurance Responsibilities: • Install and maintain electrical systems, components, and related equipment according to quality and safety codes. • Diagnose and troubleshoot motor and control systems in a variety of industrial and commercial applications. • Install raceway and cable tray systems. • Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems. • Read electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals. • Utilize problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to resolve issues. • Install, program, and mount VFDs, soft starts, transformers and motors, and panelboards. • Pull and run wire, conduit, and other materials in various sizes. • Terminate motors and transformers. • Utilize threaders, big pipe benders, and tuggers as needed. Qualifications: • Comfortable reading and understanding electrical blueprints, schematics, and diagrams. • The expected abilities of the technician will increase as they gain experience. • Ability to operate hand and power tools associated with electrical work. • Able to handle physical workload. • Working knowledge of electrical theory, and the associated principles, materials, and equipment. • Must have an active Journeyman Electrical license. Compensation: $28 - $34 hourly DOE
