As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team and support the maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment across the facility. Position Overview: The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment in our food processing plant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical work and experience working in manufacturing or food production environments. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and machinery used in food processing and packaging. • Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems, equipment, and control panels. • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues related to PLCs, motors, drives, and control circuits. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, electrical codes, and plant policies. • Collaborate with production teams to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency of equipment. • Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections on electrical components to prevent future issues. • Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery. • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and equipment logs. • Respond to emergency maintenance calls and resolve electrical malfunctions promptly. • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay current with new electrical technologies and safety standards. Qualifications: • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or relevant technical training preferred. • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician, preferably in a food manufacturing or similar industrial environment. • Licensing/Certification: Valid electrical license or certification (as required by local/state regulations). Skills & Knowledge: • Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, motor control circuits, PLCs, and VFDs. • Experience with troubleshooting electrical issues and performing repairs on complex equipment. • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and electrical codes (NEC, NFPA 70E). • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Compensation: $34+ Based on Experience
