Industrial Groundwater Treatment Project Manager
Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the planning, execution, and completion of industrial groundwater treatment projects, ensuring they meet objectives, timelines, and budgetary requirements.
Coordinate and manage project teams, including engineers, operators, and contractors, to ensure effective implementation of treatment processes.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards, and company policies throughout all project phases.
Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones and addressing any delays promptly.
Monitor and evaluate project progress, conducting regular site inspections, meetings, and status updates to track performance and resolve issues.
Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and optimizing resource allocation.
Prepare, review, and approve project documentation, including contracts, reports, and technical specifications.
Act as the primary point of contact between stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory agencies, ensuring clear communication and effective problem-solving.
Oversee the installation, operation, and testing of equipment related to wastewater treatment, ensuring proper functioning and compliance with operational standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve any operational or technical issues that arise during project execution.
Ensure proper training and development of project staff, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and tools to successfully complete the project.
Key Knowledge Areas:
Strong understanding of industrial groundwater treatment processes, equipment, and operations, including filtration systems, pumps, chemical feed systems, and monitoring equipment.
Expertise in project management principles and practices, including budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and resource allocation.
Experience with environmental and safety regulations related to groundwater treatment and industrial wastewater systems.
Familiarity with SCADA systems, electrical systems (12V DC to 480V AC), and control systems, as well as troubleshooting and maintenance of related equipment.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project).
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&ID diagrams, and technical specifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
A background in mechanical or electrical engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience.
Prior experience in managing industrial groundwater or wastewater treatment projects is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
